Would you look at this little stud! Adorable right? Well know he's not the only one! Kids are beginning to get into wrestling as early as 3 years old!! Granted, it's more for fun than competition but the ideal is still there. I personally started wrestling when I was 6 years old, and some say that's fairly early; now imagine 3 more years of experience! Holy cow, I'd be the next Dan Gable!
Like any concept, there are pros and cons to this matter. Sure, your child may baddest kid in the room, but is it really what the child wants? In certain cases, I've sadly witnessed overbearing parents completely ruin this wonderful sport of wrestling either because they pushed their child to do the sport and not enjoy it, or simply be overly competitive. Wrestling is suppose to be fun and if that kid is not having fun out there then maybe the sport isn't for them. I will say this, I originally was not all that excited about wrestling until my parents told me for every match I won, I got a pack of Pokémon cards. Let me tell you that I started winning a lot of Pokémon cards, and I started loving wrestling a lot more too. Regardless of my story just a neat little idea I figured I'd share with ya guys.
